Our Staff

At the heart of the Eastside Early Learning center is a group of dedicated and caring teachers, education coordinator and director. Our registered nurse is onsite five mornings per week. The longevity of our staff is extraordinary. We have some teachers who have been employed here between 10 and 20 years!

Nurse Consultant Support

Our experienced nurse consultant supports EELC families and staff with preventing spread of infectious diseases, keeping children up to date with medical visits, maintaining environmental safety, compliance with health protocols, and other health and safety resources.

Learning and Development

Each staff member at EELC completes a minimum of 24 professional development hours annually, including one full-day of professional development training. These hours may be in the areas of curriculum development, family engagement, assessment, classroom management, and health and wellness, to name a few.

About our Board of Directors

As a non-profit organization, the Eastside Early Learning Center is managed by a voluntary board of directors. The board is responsible for setting policies and procedures, and for supporting the work of the director and the center as a whole. Made up primarily of parents, we encourage our parent community to get involved by serving on our board or volunteering to support one of our many community engagement or center improvement events and projects!
